Gateway Experience
Overview
The Gateway Experience is a training system developed by the Monroe Institute designed to bring enhanced strength, focus and coherence to brainwave output between left and right hemispheres. Using Hemi-Sync audio technology, it aims to alter consciousness, moving it outside the physical sphere to escape the restrictions of time and space.
What is Hemi-Sync?
Hemi-Sync is a patented audio technology developed through 40 years of research. Complex blends of sound frequencies facilitate different states of consciousness. There are no subliminal messages - the user remains in control.
As defined by Monroe Institute trainer Melissa Jager:
"A state of consciousness defined when the EEG patterns of both hemispheres are simultaneously equal in amplitude and frequency."
Studies at the Menninger Foundation showed that trained meditators could establish and sustain Hemi-Sync for over 15 minutes at will.
The Focus Levels
The Gateway Experience progresses through "Waves" with specific Focus levels:
- Focus 10 - Mind awake, body asleep
- Focus 12 - Expanded awareness
- Focus 15 - No time
- Focus 21 - Other energy systems
- Focus 23-27 - Exploration of afterlife states
CIA Analysis
The CIA released a classified analysis of the Gateway Experience in 1983, evaluating its potential for intelligence applications including remote viewing and out-of-body experiences for information collection.

Personal Experience (2023)
My Journey with Gateway
In 2023, approximately 1-2 weeks before Voice-to-Skull (V2K) harassment began, I was actively practicing the Gateway Experience using the Hemi-Sync tapes.
Practice Sessions
I attempted astral projection multiple times using the tapes but never achieved a full projection. The closest I got was one time when I managed to move out of my body for just a second—only a few centimeters—before being pulled back in.
Vivid Dream Experience
That same night after practicing, I had a vivid dream where I could pause it like a video, watch it on a screen, and even rewind or fast-forward at will.
Affirmations
As part of the Gateway Experience, I created around 40–50 affirmations for my higher self. I recorded them in Ableton and used AI to generate a voice for added effectiveness. I listened to these affirmations multiple times.
One of my goals was to astral project on command, which I thought would be an incredible ability to have.

Possible Connection to Targeting
This raises questions about whether practicing consciousness expansion techniques like Gateway may attract unwanted attention:
- V2K started shortly after intensive Gateway practice
- Handlers specifically mentioned I "shouldn't fly"
- Energy to crown chakra being cut off
- Kundalini energy being extracted
- Attempts to travel to Moon blocked
Could expanding consciousness and developing psychic abilities make one visible to surveillance systems? Or does the timing suggest correlation rather than causation?
